All customers using Outlook Express, Outlook, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, Mac Mail or other email clients should have outgoing authentication selected in their email settings. This setting is necessary to further protect customers from receiving unwanted emails and to insure your service works smoothly during our email upgrades. Customer Support Tips:

Rebooting is the best first thing to try before contacting customer support.

To reboot your wireless system first unplug the Motorola power supply and plug it back in. Wait 5 minutes. If you have a router, unplug the power to the router and plug it back in and restart your computer. If you do not have a router, wait 5 minutes and restart your computer.

To reboot your DSL modem, push the power button on the back of the modem or unplug the power cord and plug it back in. Restart your computer.

Routers can sometimes prevent you from being able to surf. If you are experiencing problems connecting to the internet bypassing your router may help. To do this remove the short black cable (the one that has the one inch black box connected to it) from the back of the router and plug directly into the network card on your computer. Restart your computer and try surfing again. If you are able to surf with this configuration, you have a connection to our tower. For assistance with reconnecting your router contact the router manufacturer.
